I'm am blessed to be able to do what I enjoy most every day,and that is paint! I've been drawing and painting since childhood. I have studied under two professional award winning artists for several years. I try to look for beauty in everything I see, and try to relate the way I {SEE} certain things, objects,people & places onto a piece of canvas or paper. If asked I would probably say my work at most times, tends to lean toward an expressive style of impressionism! For lack of a better term :)And here lately it seems as if my work has been taking a turn toward a more abstract approach!

Hi, I am a 37 year old full-time impressionist painter living in Wichita KS. I have studied for years under two known artists, and have produced several award winning paintings.My work is strongly influenced by impressionists like, Monet, Cezanne & Pissaro. I have really been inspired by the whole daily painting movement, and it is my goal to paint and post a new painting here every day, or real close to it. These paintings will tend to be rather small in size, and I am making these paintings available to purchase. Fiesta Vase - Oil On Studio Wrapped Canvas

I hope all of you had a Super Fantastic, fun & safe weekend! Sorry I didn't make a post yesterday, I got unexpectedly caught up in other activities. If I had of made a post this would have been it! I truly love this painting! I think it shows & represents an excitement & celebration of life itself! comments? :) I feel this is one of my best pictures to date so far this year! I hope that you all like it!
There's no need to frame this painting, the sides are staple free & have been painted a Prussian Blue. I have not varnished this one! And may not unless it sells and the new owner would like for me to varnish it for them.

  3. What a gifted artist you are - The vase painting is beautiful. Thanks for becomming a follower of my blog - A curious spectator which Ive just come back after an absence of 3 months & 4days! When I do access online priviledges, I spend time either chatting in a Pennsylvania chatroom or on Facebook where Ive met many wonderful people from all over the world!!
